Japan’s Aso: No comment on Trump's new tariff plan on Mexico

Japanese Finance Minister Aso is on the wires now, via Reuters, declining to comment on the US President Donald Trump’s new tariffs announcement on all imports from Mexico.

Aso said: “I won’t comment on other countries’ policy.”

There are no plans to discuss the U.S. currency report with Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin at the G20 finance leaders’ meeting in Fukuoka next week, Aso added.
