EUR/GBP is back above 0.81, but lows are not forgotten
FXStreet (Moscow) - EUR/GBP started the day at 0.8120, tried to recover to 0.8128, but slid to 0.8115 session low by the moment.
Fresh 1,5-year lows
Yesterday, on an intraday basis, EUR/GBP dropped to a fresh 1,5-year low but have to turn around following the recovery of the euro. Now it positioned above 0.81 again, and lack of market-moving data scheduled for release during European session may leave the pair without volatility. However, the precedent of going below 0.81 is made, and the pair may show additional attempts to move lower every time the British or EMU data give the significant enough argument.
What are today’s key EUR/GBP levels?
Today's central pivot point can be found at 0.8108, with support below at 0.8075, 0.8030 and 0. 7997, with resistance above 0.8153, 0.8188, and 0.8231. Hourly Moving Averages are mixed, with the 200SMA at 0.8125 and the daily 20EMA bearish at 0.8141. Hourly RSI is bullish at 54.
