AUD/NZD consolidating on 1.08 handle

FXStreet (Guatemala) - Currently, AUD/NZD is trading at 1.0800, up 0.01% on the day, having posted a daily high at 1.0807 and low at 1.0794.

With a thin market for the pair without there being anything on the docket in terms of the calendar, turning to the price action, AUD/NZD spot is in neutral territory according to the hourly FXStreet OB/OS Index, while the FXStreet Trend Index is slightly bullish. RSI is in neutral territory at 44.53, down from it’s last hourly close at 47.08, while ADX is ranging above 30 at 20.13, up from 14.83 at the last hourly close. Looking to a daily chart, we see that RSI is neutral at 43.87.

Spot is presently trading at 1.0802, and next resistance can be seen at 1.0807 (Daily High), 1.0808 (Hourly 200 SMA), 1.0814 (Weekly High), 1.0825 (Yesterday's High) and 1.0833 (Daily Classic R1). Next support to the downside can be found at 1.0801 (Daily Classic PP), (Daily Open), 1.0799 (Hourly 20 EMA), 1.0798 (Weekly Classic PP) and 1.0796 (Hourly 100 SMA).
