EUR/JPY takes a pause after a bullish run on Wednesday
FXStreet (Moscow) - EUR/JPY is consolidating with a light bearish bias in Asia, as the cross opened at 138.60 and touched the current low at 138.49
EUR/JPY bulls did their job
EUR/JPY managed to climb to 138.74 on Wednesday, helped by stronger EUR against USD after FOMC minutes. From the fund,entail point of view, ECB monthly report might be of interest, as it will reveal the staff views on economic situation and price stability. It might be of interest considering the recent dovish shift in ECB monetary policy. Investors will be looking for details that might hint on the extend of stimulating measures. Dovish tone of the report is likely to put EUR under pressure, though, technically, EUR/JPY is positively biased as long as it holed well above the short-term bottom has been formed at 138.15/10.
