US stocks closed Friday with gains but lower in the week
FXStreet (San Francisco) - Wall Street posted gains on Friday as investors' cheered upbeat quarterly result from Wells Fargo ahead of major earnings week.
The Dow Jones advanced 28.74 pts or 0.17% to close at 16,943.81; the DJIA declined 0.39% in the week. The S&P 500 added 2.83 pts or 0.14% in the day to finish the week at 1,967.51; 0.63% negative.
The Nasdaq won 19.29 pts or 0.44% to 4,415.49; the Composite lost 1.57% in the week.
