New Zealand REINZ House Price Index (MoM) rose from previous -1.2% to -0.3% in June

Following last week's Portugal's Banco Espirito Santo jitters, which led to default concerns and increased sovereign yields in the country, Portugal's PM Pedro Passos Coelho was quoted by the FT as saying that "we don't have the slightest reason to doubt that the tranquility of our financial and banking system will be maintained."
