EU’s Gallina: Q2 vaccine deliveries should see bloc hit 70% target by late summer

The coronavirus vaccine deliveries for the second quarter should see bloc hit 70% target by late summer, the European Union’s (EU) Health Director-General Sandra Gallina said on Tuesday.

The comments come as she updates Members of the Budgetary Control Committee (CONT) on the eight advanced purchase agreements (APA) on coronavirus vaccines concluded by the Commission with pharmaceutical companies.
