Goldman Sachs sees 45% chance of a Fed taper announcement in November – Reuters

Goldman Sachs announced on Tuesday that it has raised the odds of a Fed taper announcement in November to 45% from 25% previously, as reported by Reuters.

The investment bank further added that it expects the Fed to taper by $15 billion, split between $10 billion in USTS and $5 billion in MBS.

Market reaction

This report doesn't seem to be having a significant impact on the USD's performance against its major rivals. As of writing, the US Dollar Index was posting small daily gains at 93.01.
